On October 16th we had a great group of young maritime professionals meet during the Shanty Sing with their guest speaker Captain Wayne Wilson of the Federal Pilots. Then we were treated to an introduction of the 1Mississippi project and we got to make flags under the skillful eyes of Christian. These flags would fly over the Yangtze and Mississippi Rivers and are similar to Tibetan prayer flags, carrying our dreams to the world.
